For our client, a state-of-the-art cold store in the Oss region with over 100,000 pallet positions, we are looking for scanning employees for the expedition floor. As soon as pallets are unloaded from the truck, you are the one who records everything: the weight, the quantities, the best-before date and the article details all go into your scanner. If something doesn't add up, you catch it before it becomes a problem. Thanks to you, the entire cold store knows exactly what comes in. You work on the expedition floor, so not in the deep freeze, and you get warm workwear from the company. You work a 2-shift rotation and join a friendly, close-knit, permanent team that we would love to expand. The pay is well arranged too. You start from €15.63 per hour, which is €625.07 gross per week (step C1 of the Dutch road transport collective agreement). If you already have relevant experience, you may start at a higher step. On top of that come a cold-store allowance of €42.14 gross per four weeks and a shift allowance, putting you at around €17.26 per hour right away. After each full year in the job you in principle move up a pay step, up to approx. €20.93 per hour including allowances. Overtime is paid at 130%, Saturday hours at 150%. Living a bit further away? Then you receive a travel allowance of €0.23 net per kilometre (from 10 km one way). After your shift you can take a hot shower in the clean changing rooms, your things are safe in your own locker, and free soup, coffee, tea and chocolate milk are waiting in the canteen.
