Earn up to approx. €21.88 per hour, and on Saturdays even up to €28.52. For our client, a state-of-the-art cold store in the Oss region with over 100,000 pallet positions, we are looking for reach truck operators. And no, you won't be sitting there shivering: you work from an enclosed, heated cabin on a modern Toyota reach truck, complete with two cameras (one in the forks and one on the fork carriage), a two-way radio and a music radio. While it's -18 degrees around you, you sit comfortably warm and store pallets at heights of up to around 13 metres. Precision work for professionals. You join a big, friendly team of around 30 reach truck operators and work a 3-shift rotation: 06:00-15:00, 15:00-00:00 and 00:00-06:00. Shift 1 works Saturdays as standard, and that is good news for your payslip: all Saturday hours are paid at 150% of your hourly wage. The rest of the pay is well arranged too. You start from €15.63 per hour, which is €625.07 gross per week (step C1 of the Dutch road transport collective agreement). If you already have relevant experience, you may start at a higher step. With the cold-store allowance of €42.14 gross per four weeks and the shift allowance on top, you earn around €18.04 per hour right away. After each full year in the job you in principle move up a pay step, up to approx. €21.88 per hour including allowances. Want to work more? There is plenty of overtime available, paid at 130%, which is €20.32 to €24.71 per hour. Living a bit further away? Then you receive a travel allowance of €0.23 net per kilometre (from 10 km one way). After your shift you can take a hot shower in the clean changing rooms, your things are safe in your own locker, and free soup, coffee, tea and chocolate milk are waiting in the canteen.
