Always on the move, never a dull day. For our client, a state-of-the-art cold store in the Oss region with over 100,000 pallet positions, we are looking for EPT drivers (electric pallet truck). On your pallet truck you are the engine of the floor: you load and unload trucks and drive pallets through the cold store to the reach truck drivers, who store them up to 13 metres high. A quieter moment? Then you help out on the cooling floor. Yes, it's chilly in the freezer cells. But you get thick protective workwear from the company, and with all that driving and lifting you'll stay warm enough. You work a 2-shift rotation: one week from 06:00 to 15:00, the next from 15:00 to 00:00. That way you regularly have your mornings or afternoons free. The salary starts from €14.99 per hour, which is €599.60 gross per week (step B1 of the Dutch road transport collective agreement). If you already have relevant experience, you may start at a higher step. On top of that come a cold-store allowance of €42.14 gross per four weeks and a shift allowance, putting you at around €16.56 per hour right away. After each full year in the job you in principle move up a pay step, up to approx. €20.07 per hour including allowances. Any overtime is paid at 130%, and Saturday hours even at 150%. Living a bit further away? Then you receive a travel allowance of €0.23 net per kilometre (from 10 km one way). After your shift you can take a hot shower in the clean changing rooms, your things are safe in your own locker, and free soup, coffee, tea and chocolate milk are waiting in the canteen.
