About the role
Would you like to kickstart your logistics career in a brand-new distribution centre? We are currently looking for motivated Warehouse Operatives for our growing fulfilment centre in Puttershoek.
Our centre processes a wide range of consumer goods, from toys to household cleaning products. Initially, this is a temporary assignment of 2 to 5 days to help us with the current intake and organisation. However, as this is a new location, we are actively looking for reliable team members for the long term. For candidates who demonstrate commitment and a positive work attitude during these first few days, there is a very high chance of permanent placement in our team.
Key responsibilities
You will primarily support our Inbound department, where you will ensure that all incoming goods are processed accurately and efficiently. Your daily tasks include:
Goods receipt: Assisting with the intake of incoming shipments.
Product preparation: Unpacking items and applying the correct labels.
Quality control: Checking products to ensure they meet our standards.
Organisation: Sorting and organising items for a tidy and efficient working environment.
General support: Assisting with other warehouse activities to support the workflow of our new location.
